Dear all my colleagues ,it was of a great pleasure to see ourselves struggling to achieve our final goals in this race of using technology in teaching. It was beneficial to see different ways of presentation that is totally different from ours  even if we don't appeal some of them, we should appreciate that these ways as they  have their implication and educational effects on their students. We spent about three months listening, trying new tools, doing mistakes and asking each  other, sending emails and expressing opinions ,sharing information and ideas through blogs. All this was under the wise supervision of Dr Joy. She followed a very good method of guiding her students to work together in an integrated and indirect way  without giving direct instructions,  in a very delicate and smooth way.She is considerable, gracious and thoughtful when she excused any of us who has a difficult circumstance. She was generous to hear all of us doing our presentation without interrupting our performance although we  exceeded the limited time. We should thank her for all her efforts and wish her a wonderful life

Dear all my colleagues, I think we all spent much time thinking and asking ourselves about the best means to be well-qualified teachers and how to accomplish our targets in education, what is education? what is our real role in graduating independent, informed, and connected students? how can we get variety of information and what are the reliable sources for that? I think this video has answered all our questions and paved us the way for using  technology in education. It gives us basic meaning of education and the difference between entertainment and engagement in education. I hope you will benefit from it.

This my colleague Osama is talking about the challenges of using technology in our schools. think that Osama was right when he says that some teachers don't have the desire to use technology in teaching but I think this is because they didn't see effective outcomes of using technology in teaching, may be because they aren't efficient enough for using technology and due to the lack of training that the ministry of education and other organizations introduce for the teachers in public or governmental schools, or it maybe because the schools aren't well equipped with enough computers or the internet connections or provided  with data shows screens, because these schools are in poor districts and don't have the same privileges as experimental or private schools. Although these are major factors in reducing the use of technology in classrooms we have other alternatives like mobile phones, our own laptops and i pads through  which we can achieve our targets.

Last week we discussed a vital and important element in the teaching process which is the management of the classroom. This  reminds me with what we studied in methodology. It includes different aspects like ;warming the students up for the new lesson, timing of the tasks, distributing tasks among students, collaboration between students and their colleagues concerning certain activities and defining a good assessment for the students understanding and a good  evaluation for both the student and the teacher work. And this will  take place through a good monitoring of the students behavior. In this respect I can say that monitoring  students depends greatly on the way teachers follow to involve SS and attract their attention to what he or she introduces. Here comes the old sayings that the teacher is an actor who plays different roles on the stage every day and also comes the effective role of using technology to attract students attention to the lesson and to the teacher. It also ingrates them in the work in the way that accelerates the learning acquisition and introduces a good outcome of well-educated citizens.

My passion is cooking. I'm really fascinated by new recipes and new tastes.but I think there is another passion on its way  to my heart. It began to steal my time and never let me  think of my former passion, it is technology. I tried several times to get this video successful  without being bored,  then finally, it became true and  I found myself talking on a video on the internet. I think it is a  very good way to make students express their opinions and thoughts without feeling shy because their friends or relatives are who video them . these cams can be used by students to video each others wok or they  can  be used as  a  tool for  keeping order in shambles classes  as Ominya mentioned.  Also video cams can be used by teachers and administrators  who want to address their students on a certain theme.

This session was great.  It reminded us with our early years of learning. Although I love Arabic language and Arabic poetry, I found it wasn't easy to teach it. But there was a great difference between the two ways of teaching . In the past we learnt Arabic by repeating , elicitation, dictating  words but now We use  modern technology to teach Arabic Alphabet and words. We tried with much effort to design the best outline for  teaching . We were integrated in the work to the extent that we forget we are English teachers not Arabic. We collaborated to find the easiest and effective way to teach   However, what made laughed and feel ashamed at the same time that we find it perplexing to teach our own native language.
Last session before Eid was a practical and fruitful lesson. I learnt how to write an academic reference sheet following APA reference and that wast  what I needed from the beginning because it is the basis for academic writing . I think we should have learnt  this kind of writing during our university studies. Instructors should have taught us these kinds to be qualified for post graduate studies. It would have been something useful to learn before teaching our students something we have no idea about. I think that Dr Joy helped us a lot with this practice because the usage become clear now than before.
